Privacy policy

Updated September 25, 2026

This policy describes One Take Studio, an iPhone audio recorder and editor provided by Ivan Shuvalov. The installed app is labeled One Take.

Your audio stays on your device

Recordings, imported audio, project names, lyrics, artwork and audio settings are stored locally. Audio effects, noise cleanup and key detection run on your device. The app does not send your recordings to an AI service or to the developer.

Data collection and tracking

The app has no online account, advertising, analytics SDK, tracking identifier or developer-operated cloud service. It does not automatically send personal data or recordings to the developer or third-party services. Apple may separately process system diagnostics according to your Apple privacy settings.

Permissions and files

Microphone access is used for recording and live monitoring. You can disable monitoring in Audio settings and revoke microphone permission in iOS Settings. The system file and photo pickers provide only the files or artwork you select; the app does not request access to your entire photo library.

Saving and sharing

Export creates a local MP3 or ZIP containing WAV tracks. When you choose Save or share, iOS passes that file to the destination you select. Cloud storage, messaging apps and other recipients handle those copies under their own policies. Copies saved outside this app are not removed when you delete a project here.

Storage and deletion

Projects remain on this device until you delete them or delete the app. Deleting a project removes its locally stored recordings, artwork and derived audio. Generated exports can remain in the temporary app cache until iOS removes them or you delete the app.

Projects do not sync to a developer cloud and are excluded from automatic iOS backups. Export important recordings before deleting the app or changing devices. Deleting the app removes its local data; files you saved or shared elsewhere remain in those destinations.

System playback controls

During playback, the app provides iOS with the project title, artist, artwork, duration and playback position for system playback controls. This does not send recordings to a developer server.

Support and this website

If you email support, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond to your request and investigate the issue. Please avoid sending private recordings unless they are necessary for your support request. You can ask us to delete your support correspondence.

This website has no advertising or analytics scripts. Its hosting provider may process technical request data, including an IP address and browser information, to deliver and secure the pages. This website processing is separate from local audio processing in the iPhone app.

Updates

Any changes to how the app handles data will be reflected here with a new update date.
