Getting started

Create a project and choose an audio file as your beat. Allow microphone access when prompted, position the playhead and tap Record. Tap Stop to keep the take. Projects save locally as you edit.

Importing audio

Use the + button beside Vocals to add another audio file. If a file is in a cloud drive, download it in Files first. The app supports common MP3, WAV and M4A files; protected or damaged files may not open.

Monitoring your voice

Connect headphones before enabling Monitoring. Wired headphones are best for timing; Bluetooth adds delay. Monitoring and input selection are in Audio settings, opened from the microphone button or the project menu. If you hear feedback, turn Monitoring off.

Effects and original recordings

Choose a vocal preset or hold a clip for 0.3 seconds and open Sample effects. Effects are applied during playback and export. Original recordings remain available. Dry WAV export removes processing while preserving the arrangement.

Saving and sharing

Open the project menu and choose Export MP3 for a mixed demo, or Export WAV tracks (ZIP) for processed and dry tracks with a separate beat. Use Save or share and choose Save to Files or a sharing app. All WAV tracks start at 00:00 so they line up in another audio editor.

Microphone not working

Check this app's microphone permission in iOS Settings. Reconnect your microphone or headphones and choose the input again. Stop other apps that may be using the microphone, then retry recording.

Keeping your recordings

Projects stay on this device and are excluded from automatic iOS backups. Save important MP3/WAV exports to Files or another location before deleting the app or changing devices. There is no online account from which recordings can be restored.

Deleting a project

In Projects, open the project's menu, choose Delete and confirm. This removes that project's local recordings. Files you previously exported or sent elsewhere need to be deleted separately.

Reading your lyrics

Tap the project title and write in the Text field. Tap T in the lower toolbar to read over the timeline. Scroll on the wide left strip; the text itself lets gestures reach the canvas. Tap the pencil to edit.
